Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking a General Manager to lead store performance and a team, delivering a white-glove customer experience. You will coach staff, manage daily operations, and drive profitability through loans and pawns while upholding policies and security.

The role requires weekend availability and a 40-hour workweek in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll train on systems, compliance, and performance reporting to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail, financial, customer service, or related industries.
• Operations leadership experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to a personal vehicle for workday use.
• Ability to operate phone, POS, Microsoft Office and other systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required and compliant with law.
• Ability to meet physical demands including occasional lifting and movement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coach, and develop all store team members to build new business and maintain store profitability.
• Manage store performance by meeting/exceeding KPIs and training on performance reports.
• Lead the team to achieve sales goals by offering loan or pawn products and pursuing local marketing and partnerships.
• Supervise cash handling, security, deposits, and loss prevention; conduct opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Maintain a professional store appearance and properly display seasonal/promotional materials.
• Use a personal vehicle to complete bank deposits and other company business.
• Maintain a full-time in-person schedule, including some weekend hours (min 40 hours/week).
• Store hours/schedule subject to change; coordinate with recruiter for updates.
