Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking a General Manager to lead store performance and develop a high-performing team. You will coach staff, manage daily operations, drive sales of loan/pawn products, and build local marketing and community partnerships.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work a full-time in-person schedule, including some weekends, with a focus on compliance and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail, financial, customer service, or related industries.
• Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid and current driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, moving around store, and operation of a keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coach, and develop all store Team Members to build new business and maintain store profitability.
• Train Team Members on systems, policies, compliance, account management, recovery, and daily performance reports.
• Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards and KPIs; analyze performance reports.
• Lead team to reach or exceed sales goals by extending loan or pawn products, identifying local marketing strategies, leveraging partnerships, obtaining referrals, and hosting events.
• Supervise cash handling, loss prevention, deposits, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain a visually pleasing, professional store environment and oversee planograms and marketing materials.
• Use a personal vehicle for bank deposits and other company business.
• Maintain a full-time schedule including some weekend hours (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Speak with recruiter for up-to-date hourly requirements.
