Job summary

Sur La Table seeks a Store Floor Lead to empower customers and drive store performance. As MOD, you guide daily operations, coach teammates, and support onboarding, training, and development. You represent the brand, deliver a memorable guest experience, and stay current on products through training and self-learning.

You will help achieve sales goals, identify customer needs, and maintain stock and visual standards while ensuring compliance with wage laws. Flexible 20–25 hour weeks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience or equivalent
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
• Maintain brand representation and ensure a guest-obsessed customer experience.
