Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Store Floor Lead to inspire customers and support the GM/SM in achieving sales and operational goals. As MOD, you ensure smooth daily operations and deliver an exceptional, guest-obsessed shopping experience.

You will coach and onboard associates, stay current on products, and drive on-the-floor performance while adhering to wage laws and SOPs. The role also requires standing for long periods, managing stock, and meeting KPIs with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty or culinary retail environment.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
• Represent the brand to create memorable, educational customer experiences and loyalty.
• Drive store sales goals through effective customer engagement and KPI-focused performance.
