Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Store Floor Lead in a dynamic retail setting to inspire customers through every step of their culinary journey. As MOD, you will support the GM/SM in achieving sales and operational goals and ensure a consistent, best-in-class customer experience.

You will coach, onboard, and develop associates, stay current on products, and lead a guest-obsessed culture while meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty or culinary retail environment.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire, develop, and retain a high performing team.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Provide in‑the‑moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire repeat visits and loyalty.
