Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Store Floor Lead to drive in-store performance and deliver an exceptional guest experience. In this role you will act as Manager on Duty, coaching the team, maintaining visual standards, and supporting onboarding while advancing sales through coaching and customer engagement.

You will help achieve store goals, stay current on products, and foster a guest-obsessed culture. This position requires 20–25 hours weekly with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a specialty or culinary retail environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain a high performing team.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable customer experiences and maintaining product knowledge.
• Identify customer needs and drive selling opportunities to meet or exceed monthly goals.
