Job summary

Michaels in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Sales Manager who leads front-end and service operations, champions a high-performing selling culture, and drives strong sales results through customer-focused coaching.

You will model and train the ART of Selling, ensure SOP compliance, manage MOD coverage, oversee loyalty programs and events, and uphold asset protection while delivering efficient day-to-day execution in a fast-paced environment with night, weekend, and early-morning hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage front-end and service operations to meet selling and brand standards.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage ensuring floor leadership and service continuity.
• Drive sales by modeling the ART of Selling and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Oversee store programs (Loyalty, MCC/Extend, events) and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Ensure SOP compliance and asset protection practices to reduce shrink.
