Michaels in Waynesboro, VA is seeking a Full Time Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver an engaging customer experience. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach staff, and ensure adherence to SOPs, company standards, and store policies.

The role focuses on driving sales and KPI results through customer-focused leadership, loyalty programs, and efficient day-to-day execution.

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
Provide MOD coverage, maintain floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems, supporting smooth transactions and customer support.
Oversee Balloons business, birthday party operations, and other in-store programs and events
Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
Champion MCC/Extend services and protection plans for customers.
Drive sales and operational excellence in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience.
Ensure efficient execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery and support Custom Framing operations.
Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
