Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA's Food Lion division seeks a Project Manager I to supervise new store, expansion, and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will coordinate bids, contracts, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely store openings across our NC/SC/VA footprint.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field and 5–7 years of experience, with strong leadership across diverse teams and up to 80% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction industry.
• Ability to lead projects through influence and drive accountability across contractors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for GC's, CM's and subcontractors.
• Oversee preparation of contracts, purchase orders, and payment processing.
• Manage Construction Change Authorization/Change Order processes.
• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with plans, codes and prototype standards.
