Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for GC's, CM's, subcontractors and suppliers for Food Lion-contracted projects.
• Oversee bid document preparation and RFQ package submission to ensure accurate, timely bids.
• Handle contracts, purchase orders, and payment processing for Food Lion-contracted work.
• Manage Change Authorization/Change Order processes to control scope and costs.
• Direct weekly project meetings with stakeholders to drive timely delivery and issue resolution.
• Review ARCH/MEP drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards and codes.
• Provide value engineering input to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Real Estate, Operations and other teams on schedules and handoffs.
• Ensure safe, compliant execution of construction activities and timely store openings.
