Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead the team, driving profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. You will coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, in collaboration with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.

You will recruit and develop teams, manage an area of responsibility, implement efficiency plans, perform Service Leader duties,

Qualifications

Retail management experience (1-3 years) required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Effective communicator with customers and team to meet goals.
Passionate about retail and fast-paced environment.
Driven by metrics to achieve business goals.
Mentor and coach others to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Drive store sales and profitability through customer focus, product operations, merchandising and talent development.
Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
Own assigned area of responsibility.
Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
Perform Service Leader duties.
Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
Represent the brand and monitor competition and retail landscape.
Promote community involvement.
Leverage omni-channel for a frictionless customer experience.
Ensure all compliance standards are met.
