Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area, overseeing daily operations, open/close procedures, and supervising team members to maintain friendly, easy-to-shop environments.

This role focuses on merchandise presentation, safety, and adherence to company processes. You will ensure loss prevention, front-end efficiency, and proper stockroom management while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise associates.
• Maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Execute and supervise company operational processes as needed.
• Support loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Train and coach associates on front-end operations and cash handling.
• Ensure stockroom organization and back-end receiving responsibilities.
