Job summary

Ross is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a defined store area, open/close duties, supervise Associates, and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. You will ensure proper merchandise presentation and a clean work area at all times.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety, loss prevention, and front-end procedures while coaching staff and coordinating tasks to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment on the sales floor.
• Opens and closes the store and supervises Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Ensures merchandise presentation, cleanliness, and stockroom organization.
• Trains and coaches Associates in cash handling and front-end procedures.
• Monitors loss prevention practices and enforces company policies.
