Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. Area Supervisor is a member of the Store Leadership team responsible for a specific area of the Store and for general operations when acting as Manager on Duty. They open/close, supervise Associates, and keep a friendly, easy to shop environment with proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.

They also execute and supervise Company operational processes as needed, ensuring safety, lost prevention, and customer service excellence across the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, supervise associates, and maintain a clean, shop-friendly environment.
• Represent Ross Leadership, execute company processes, and maintain store safety.
• Ensure merchandise presentation and back-room organization meet standards.
• Lead by example to maintain loss prevention and customer service excellence.
