Job summary

Cribl is seeking a high-performing Sales Engineer Specialist to drive our Storage & Analysis product portfolio. You’ll be a trusted technical advisor, partner with Sales to accelerate opportunities, and help customers understand the value of Cribl solutions across the sales cycle.

You will work in a remote-first environment, travel up to 30%, and collaborate with a field team to develop demos and materials that reflect customer buying patterns. Base salary ranges from $130k to $190k USD.

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs in logs, metrics, observability, IT ops, or security in a customer-facing role.
• Experience selling to both new and existing customers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent AND 3–5 years in a customer-facing role or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Explain Cribl Storage & Analysis value throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with Product Sales Specialist to develop and execute sales strategies.
• Create demos, presentations, and selling artifacts reflecting customer usage patterns.
• Demo the product, conduct assessments, and lead proof-of-value events.
• Guide customers through proof‑of‑concept activities and ensure successful outcomes.
