Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Sales Engineer Specialist to drive adoption of Storage & Analysis offerings in a remote-first setting across the Eastern region. You will partner with Sales to accelerate opportunities, build demos, and deliver compelling technical pitches that align with customer needs.

The role requires 5+ years in logs/observability and strong consultative selling skills, plus willingness to travel up to 30% and reside in the Eastern Time Zone.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer‑facing role with logs, observability, IT ops, or security solutions.
• Experience selling into new and existing customers (land and expand).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 3–5 years in a customer‑facing role or equivalent mix of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Explain the value of Cribl's Storage & Analysis products throughout the sales process.
• Partner with Product Sales Specialist to develop sales strategies and drive pipeline.
• Develop demos, content, and artifacts reflecting customer buying patterns.
• Demo the product and answer questions during sales calls and presentations.
• Lead proof of value events and guide customers through PoC activities.
