Cribl is seeking a Sales Engineer Specialist for its Storage & Analysis portfolio. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, working with Sales to accelerate opportunities, develop demos, and guide customers through proofs‑of‑value while bridging AI telemetry with practical infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years in logs/observability in a customer-facing capacity, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and willingness to travel up to 30% in a remote-first team across the Eastern US region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with logs, metrics, observability, IT operations, or security solutions in a customer-facing role.
• Experience selling into both new and existing customers.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent AND 3-5 years in a customer facing role or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Explain Cribl's Storage & Analysis value across the sales process.
• Partner with a Product Sales Specialist to develop sales strategies and drive pipeline.
• Develop demos, content, presentations reflecting customer buying patterns.
• Demo the product and answer questions during initial sales calls.
• Deliver presentations, conduct Proof of Value events, and narrate technical details.
• Guide customers through proofs-of-concept to ensure outcomes.
• Document use cases in blog posts and product documentation.
