Cribl is hiring a Sales Engineer Specialist for its Storage & Analysis portfolio. This remote-first role supports customers in the Eastern Region, collaborating with Sales to accelerate opportunities and translate complex telemetry into clear value.

The role blends technical demos, PV activities, and strategic selling across time zones. Requires 5+ years in logs/observability and strong customer-facing experience, with travel up to 30% and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs of experience with logs, metrics, observability, IT operations, or security in a customer-facing role.
• Experience selling to new and existing customers (landing and expanding).
• Ability to teach opportunities through consultative selling methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent AND 3-5 years in a customer facing role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML technologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Must reside in the Eastern Region (Eastern and Central Time Zones preferred).

Responsibilities

• Help customers understand the value of Cribl's Storage & Analysis products during the entire sales process.
• Partner with a dedicated Product Sales Specialist to develop and execute sales strategies and drive pipeline growth.
• Collaborate with the Field team to develop demos, presentations, and selling artifacts.
• Demo the product and answer customer questions during initial sales calls.
• Deliver sales presentations, present technical information, conduct product demonstrations and PV events.
• Guide customers through proof-of-concept activities for successful outcomes.
• Document use cases in blog posts and product documentation.
