Job summary

Cribl is seeking a high‑performing Sales Engineer Specialist to drive the Storage & Analysis portfolio. Youll be the trusted tech advisor, collaborating with Sales to accelerate opportunities and deliver compelling demos and Value proofs for customers across the Eastern region.

Youll lead product demonstrations, develop technical content, and guide customers through Proofs of Concept while aligning with cross‑functional teams to close opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in logs, metrics, observability, IT ops, or security in a customer-facing role
• Experience selling into new and existing customers (land and expand)
• 3–5 years in a customer-facing role with a degree or equivalent
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Background in cybersecurity, data analytics, or AI/ML
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Must reside in the Eastern Region (Eastern/Central Time Zones preferred)

Responsibilities

• Understand Cribl's Storage & Analysis value across the sales cycle
• Collaborate with a Product Sales Specialist to drive pipeline and support customer engagement
• Develop demos and sales artifacts reflecting customer usage patterns
• Demo the product and answer questions during initial sales calls
• Deliver sales presentations and run Proof of Value events
• Guide customers through proof-of-concept activities
• Document use cases in blog posts and product documentation
