Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI across multiple operations, driving change through data analytics, engineering, and lean methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

You will supervise a team, develop strategy and KPIs, coach leaders, and partner with senior management to implement transformative projects while traveling up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry.
• Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, Kaizen, and related continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineers and quality professionals; hire, promote, coach and develop performance.
• Lead development and execution of strategy, scorecards, KPI action plans, and site assessments.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to translate Ryder BSC concepts to local situations.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events, drive sustainment, and report progress.
