Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data-driven CI across multiple operations. You will mentor teams, develop strategies, implement lean methodologies, and oversee QA/QMS implementations in startup and expansion projects.

Expect extensive travel and collaboration with senior management to deliver safety, quality, and cost improvements. The role requires startup experience, advanced analytics (Power BI, SQL), and mastery of lean tools (PDCA, VSM, Kaizen)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.
• Lean Six Sigma, required
• Other cPMP, ISO/QMS, preferred
• American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) and/or Supply Chain Logistics Certification, preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals.
• Lead development and execution of strategy, scorecards, KPI action plans; assess site needs.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring in Ryder BSM concepts and CI tools.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps & Kaizen Events and sustainment; track progress and value.
