Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data‑driven change across multiple operations.

You will lead CI resources, mentor a team of engineers and quality professionals, and partner with senior management to deliver improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth. You will apply Lean methods, data analytics, and lean tools to identify root causes and sustain gains, while coordinating with operations and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
• Nine (9) years or more in Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry is required.
• Lean Six Sigma, required; cpmp and ISO/QMS or related certifications preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Access, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio expert.
• Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) and database programming (SQL, DAX) intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI engineering and quality professionals and manage performance.
• Lead development and execution of CI strategy, scorecards, and KPIs with operational leadership.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring on Lean methods and data analysis.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analytics, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events and track transformational outcomes.
