Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement leader to guide CI resources across multiple operations, promote lean methods, and deliver performance gains in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

The role interfaces with all levels of the business, requires up to 50% travel, and reports to the CI Director or Sr. CI Manager; startup experience and CAD/slotting tool proficiency are highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine or more years in the distribution, warehousing and/or manufacturing, transportation, or supply chain logistics industry.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance management capabilities.
• Expertise with Lean Six Sigma and data analytics tools.

Aufgaben

• Supervise CI engineering and quality teams; hire, promote, coach and develop staff.
• Lead strategy, scorecarding and KPI plan development; drive site improvements.
• Coach owners in engineering, data analysis and lean methods to achieve excellence.
• Drive cross-functional CI projects and report progress to senior management.
