Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Startup Operations lead to drive new Dedicated Transportation Solutions launches nationwide. You will train drivers and managers, refine process flows, and support rapid startup execution while collaborating with field operations and cross-functional teams.

Extensive travel (75-80%) is required as you rotate to new locations for defined periods. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• One or more years of direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of logistics regulations and compliance.
• Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production.

Responsibilities

• Support startup operations for new Dedicated Transportation Solutions projects.
• Train drivers and managers on core operations and systems.
• Assist in creating process documents and conducting system testing.
• Provide guidance during the startup phase and act as an extension of management.
• Help monitor driver pay, customer billing, and compliance systems.
