Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Startup Operations team member to lead new Dedicated Transportation Solutions startups, train drivers and managers, and develop process documents. The role emphasizes quick decision-making and cross-functional guidance throughout the startup phase.

Extensive travel (75–80%) to locations nationwide is required; you will be assigned to a new location for a finite period and cannot commute home during that time. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• 2+ years in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse field.
• 1+ year of direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Startup team focus on flawless execution and meeting CSFs.
• Ensure drivers and managers understand core operations and systems.
• Act as management arm to answer questions during startup.
• Train new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group.
• Build out process flow and guide operational consistency.
