Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Startup Operations role to support new Dedicated Transportation Solutions startups and ongoing field operations. You’ll train drivers and managers, draft process docs, and assist in design-level product consulting.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
• Two+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• One+ year direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• MS Office proficiency required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Logistics industry knowledge advanced.
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations. advanced.
• Fundamental understanding of Supply Chain Management components.
• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production.

Responsibilities

• Startup team focused on flawless execution and adherence to customer critical success factors.
• Ensure drivers and managers understand core operations and systems for tracking compliance, driver pay, and customer billing.
• Act as an extension of management to answer questions and make quick decisions during startup phase.
• Train new management team and Certified Driver Trainer group.
• Build out process flow and ensure consistency of operations.
