Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data-driven improvements across multiple operations in Madison, WI.

You will supervise CI engineering and quality professionals, develop strategies and KPIs, and coach teams to apply lean methods for dramatic performance gains in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth. Travel up to 50% is required, and the role interfaces with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or supply chain management is required.
• Experience of 9+ years in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing or logistics is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Lean and data analytics tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI/engineering team and manage performance across multiple sites.
• Lead strategy, scorecards and KPI actions with operational leadership.
• Coach teams in using engineering, data analysis and lean methods for improvements.
• Direct value stream mapping, Kaizen events and sustainment across accounts.
• Oversee start-ups, retrofits and expansions with go-live and steady-state certifications.
