Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to drive cross-functional CI initiatives across multiple sites. You will lead a team of CI engineers and quality professionals, develop KPI plans, and partner with operations to deliver safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.

Travel up to 50% and a strong background in Lean, CAD tools, WMS, Power BI, and data analytics are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine years+ in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, transportation or supply chain logistics.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent.
• Experience with CAD tools and WMS systems (Manhattan Scale).
• Advanced data analytics with Power BI and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals and manage performance.
• Lead strategy, scorecards and KPI action plans with operational leadership.
• Provide training and mentoring to use lean methods for sustainable improvements.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analysis and lean tools.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events across projects.
