Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI resources across multiple operations. You will promote Lean methods, use data analytics, and drive engineering and automation efforts to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.

Travel up to 50% is required; starting experience in startup contexts is preferred. You will supervise CI engineering and quality teams, develop strategy and KPIs, and coach teams to apply Lean, PDCA, and value stream mapping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or SCM is required.
• 9+ years in distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing and related fields.
• Lean Six Sigma and data analytics expertise are expected.
• Proven experience with WMS, CAD tools, and slotting software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI engineering and QA professionals; manage performance.
• Lead strategy, scorecards, KPI action plans; report progress to leadership.
• Provide training and mentoring on Lean methods, PDCA, and data analytics.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analysis, and Lean tools.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps & Kaizen events; drive CI transformations.
