Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data-driven initiatives across multiple sites. You will manage CI resources, promote lean tools, and collaborate with senior leadership to deliver safety, quality, and cost improvements.

The role requires startup experience, hands-on use of AutoCAD, Power BI, Manhattan SCALE, Slot3D and other slotting tools, plus strong labor planning capabilities. Up to 50% travel is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain.
• 9+ years in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Transportation or Supply Chain Logistics.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
• Strong data analytics, modeling and visualization skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Experience with startup or rapid-change environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI engineering and quality professionals; hire, coach and develop staff.
• Develop and execute CI strategy, scorecards and KPI action plans.
• Train and mentor teams in Lean tools and data analytics for sustainable improvements.
• Drive value through VSM, Kaizen events, PDCA and standard work.
• Oversee CI projects across multiple accounts and report progress.
