Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to drive data-driven CI across multiple operations. You will oversee CI resources, partner with Engineering and Automation teams, and influence change to raise safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth metrics.

The role requires start-up experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, WMS (Manhattan SCALE), Power BI, Snowflake, and slotting software. Up to 50% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine+ years in Distribution/Warehousing/Manufacturing/Transportation/Supply Chain Logistics.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and data visualization skills.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and Kaizen methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals, hiring and coaching.
• Lead strategy development, KPI action plans, and site assessments.
• Provide training and mentoring on Lean tools and data analysis for sustainable improvements.
• Develop and coach teams in Leader Standard Work, Visual Management, and PDCA.
• Manage CI projects across multiple accounts and report progress.
