Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to guide CI resources across multiple operations and drive change through data-driven CI, engineering, and automation efforts.

You will lead lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth, interfacing with employees at all levels. Required startup experience, expertise with AutoCAD, WMS, Power BI, Snowflake, and slotting software, plus labor planning and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• 9+ years in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Supply Chain Logistics.
• Experience with AutoCAD, WMS, Power BI, Snowflake, and slotting software.
• Strong skills in labor planning and labor modeling.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI engineering and quality professionals; hire, coach, and manage performance.
• Lead strategy development, scorecarding, KPIs; work with operations leadership to assess needs.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement plans to improve key metrics.
• Provide training and mentoring; translate Ryder B/S concepts to local contexts.
• Develop competencies in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events; track progress and sustainment.
