Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Richmond, VA seeks a senior Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to lead cross-functional engineering and quality teams.

You will drive data-driven CI, Lean, and automation initiatives across multiple sites, partnering with operations leadership to boost safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. The role requires startup experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, WMS Manhattan SCALE, Power BI, Snowflake, slotting tools, labor planning, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Master's degree preferred Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of CI engineering and quality professionals; manage performance and complex SC projects.
• Develop and execute strategy, KPI action plans, and assessments of site needs.
• Coach and mentor staff to apply Lean methods for sustainable improvements.
