Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a senior CI manager to lead cross-site continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and lean tools to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. This role interfaces with executives and operations leaders to implement strategic CI plans and sustain gains.

The ideal candidate will have startup experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, Power BI, Manhattan SCALE, Slot3D, labor planning, and up to 50% travel, reporting to CI leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine years+ experience in Distribution, Warehousing, or Transportation.
• Strong data analytics, Power BI, and SQL skills.
• Experience with start-ups and CI in a manufacturing/logistics setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals and manage performance.
• Lead strategy development, scorecards, and KPI action plans with site leadership.
• Provide training and mentoring in Lean tools and data analysis.
• Develop and coach on engineering methods, data analytics, and Lean principles.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events and track improvements across accounts.
