Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to drive cross-site CI initiatives across multiple operations in the Atlanta area. You will lead data-driven engineering, lean tooling, and automation programs to boost safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

The role requires startup/scale experience, advanced skills in Power BI, AutoCAD, and WMS, and the ability to travel up to 50%. You will report to the CI Director or Sr. CI Manager and mentor a regional CI team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, WMS (Manhattan SCALE), Power BI, Snowflake, and slotting software is required.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineers and quality professionals; hire, promote and coach, and manage performance across multiple projects.
• Lead development and execution of strategy, scorecards, KPI action plans, and assessments of site needs.
• Provide training and mentorship to translate Ryder BSC concepts into local applications; coach owners in Lean methods.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analytics, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; track progress and sustainment across accounts.
