Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data-driven initiatives across operations. You will manage CI resources, coach teams, and align projects with safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.

The role requires strong analytical methods, Lean tools, and cross-functional collaboration across sites. Ideal candidates have start-up experience, advanced proficiency with Power BI, SQL/DAX, CAD tools, and slotting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Nine years or more in Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, SCM industry is required.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and supply chain optimization is essential.
• Experience in start-up and post-start-up environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals, hiring and performance management.
• Lead strategy development, KPI action plans, and regular performance reporting.
• Provide training and mentoring to translate Ryder BSM concepts to local operations.
• Develop and apply lean methods including value stream mapping and Kaizen events across accounts.
• Coordinate CI projects across multiple sites and interfaces with senior management.
