Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI across multiple sites, driving change through data-driven analytics, engineering, and lean methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth. You will collaborate with senior leadership and report to the CI Director or Sr.

CI Manager. Startup experience is required along with hands-on use of AutoCAD, WMS (Manhattan SCALE), Power BI, Snowflake, slotting software (WareBee/Slot3D), and labor planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel and PowerPoint & Visio expert required.
• Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) and database programming (SQL, DAX) intermediate preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma, required; ISO/QMS and other certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals. Hire, promote, coach, and manage performance.
• Develop and execute strategy, scorecards and KPI action plans. Assess critical site and business needs.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring; translate Ryder BSM concepts to local situations.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps & Kaizen Events; manage CI projects across accounts.
