Job summary

Star Pediatric Home Care is seeking a senior Staffing Operations Manager to lead a team of Staffing Coordinators, ensuring nurses match patient needs and care continuity. You will drive workforce planning, capacity management, forecasting, and data-driven decision making across NJ offices.

Qualifications

• 3 years of people management experience in healthcare.
• Proven ability to drive performance with data analytics and reporting.
• Experience optimizing workforce utilization and staffing coverage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decisions.
• Experience building KPIs dashboards and forecasts.
• Advanced proficiency with related software and systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between NJ offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead coach and develop Staffing Coordinators to match nurses with patient needs.
• Drive workforce planning and staffing optimization to maximize nurse utilization.
• Analyze staffing data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
• Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, TA, and Operations teams.
• Identify process inefficiencies and lead operational improvement initiatives.
• Establish accountability measures and performance standards.
• Optimize workflows, technology, and workforce management practices.
• Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement action plans.
• Support strategic initiatives related to growth and capacity forecasting.
