Job summary

Star Pediatric Home Care in New Jersey is seeking a Manager, Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics to lead our Staffing Coordinators, optimize nurse capacity, and improve staffing performance. The hybrid role will base in the office closest to your residence (Mount Laurel, Howell, or Saddle Brook) with regular travel between NJ locations.

The ideal candidate is data-driven with experience in workforce planning, forecasting, analytics, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

3+ years of people management experience within healthcare.
Proven ability to lead teams with measurable performance goals and accountability.
Proven use of data, analytics, forecasting, and reporting to drive decisions.
Experience optimizing workforce utilization and staffing coverage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data.
Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, and forecasts.
Proficiency with workforce management systems and scheduling tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management across multiple departments.
Must reside in New Jersey and travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Staffing Coordinators to match nurses with patient needs and ensure continuity of care.
Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization to maximize nurse utilization and minimize open hours.
Analyze staffing, workforce, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams.
Identify process inefficiencies and lead operational improvement initiatives to boost productivity and scalability.
Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
Optimize workflows, technology utilization, and workforce management practices for efficiency.
Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement action plans to improve coverage and responsiveness.
Support strategic initiatives related to growth and capacity planning.
