Job summary

Star Pediatric Home Care in New Jersey seeks a Manager of Staffing Operations & Workforce Analytics to lead Staffing Coordinators, optimize nurse capacity, and drive data-informed staffing decisions. The role reports to Nursing Operations and requires travel among Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years managing healthcare teams, strong analytics, forecasting, and KPI development skills.

Qualifications

3+ years of people management experience within healthcare.
Proven experience leading and developing teams with measurable performance goals.
Demonstrated success using data, analytics, forecasting, and operational reporting to drive decisions.
Experience optimizing workforce utilization and reducing service gaps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills interpreting complex data.
Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and performance reporting.
Proficiency with workforce management systems, scheduling platforms, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Must reside in New Jersey and travel between Mount Laurel, Howell, and Saddle Brook offices.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Staffing Coordinators for nurse matching and continuity of care.
Drive workforce planning, capacity management, and staffing optimization to maximize utilization.
Analyze staffing and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
Develop forecasting models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools for data-driven decisions.
Partner with Nursing Operations, Clinical Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams.
Identify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to increase productivity and scalability.
Establish accountability measures and performance standards for staffing operations.
Optimize workflows, technology utilization, and workforce management practices.
Monitor staffing performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
Support growth initiatives related to planning, forecasting, and operational excellence.
