Westaff is seeking a Staffing Assistant for our onsite Lowell, MA team. You will support recruiting, onboarding, and workforce scheduling, working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a seamless hiring process.

This role offers a growth path toward a Recruiter position and requires strong organization and confidentiality. The position focuses on posting jobs, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and maintaining candidate records, with bilingual

Competenze

• 1–2 years of administrative, staffing, customer service, or office support experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Post job openings on job boards, social media, and company websites.
• Review applications and maintain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
• Assist with reference checks, background screenings, and hiring documentation.
• Support recruitment events, job fairs, and hiring initiatives.
• Maintain employee and candidate records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and workforce tracking.
• Respond to applicant and employee inquiries regarding staffing and employment processes.
• Provide recruitment updates and staffing reports as needed.
