Job summary

Westaff is seeking a Recruiter in Plattsburgh, NY to source, screen and place candidates while building strong relationships with clients and community organizations. You will travel to client sites, manage postings on social media and job boards, and support associates with growth opportunities.

A flexible schedule and ability to pass background checks are required. You will work with a supportive team in a collaborative environment that values results and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Job description

Due to our growth resulting from customer demand Westaff is looking for a Recruiter to join our team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with our customers and associates in Plattsburgh, New York.

What you will do in the Recruiter position:

Using your knowledge of recruiting techniques you will source, screen, and evaluate candidates so you can make excellent hiring decisions;

Collaborate with the team to create a high energy results-oriented culture;

Manage job posting through social media and job boards;

Develop and grow relationships with community organizations to attract new candidates;

Visit with and tour client work locations to gain an understanding of the work requirements;

Manage and retain exciting associates by providing opportunities for work and skill-building as well as responding to their questions and concerns;

Gain and use your full understanding of our client's staffing needs, you will select and assign associates to positions that meet and exceed the associate's and clients needs and expectations;

Ensuring that both the associate and the client are highly satisfied during the assignment and provide coaching for the associate when needed.

Qualifications for the Recruiter position:

Recruiting, hiring, and coordinating experience are a plus however we will train;

Able to work in a fast-paced environment while producing quality results;

Proficiency with Microsoft products to include Outlook, Word, and TEAMS;

The ability to travel to local customers and recruit event locally is required;

Although we work a typical day you must be flexible to work later if needed;

Ability to pass a drug test and background check and credit history reviewed;

Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus, but not required.
