Elwood Staffing is seeking a Staffing Assistant to greet visitors, schedule interviews, respond to inquiries, and process applicants and associates. You’ll support branch operations, customer service activities, and business development efforts to help the team meet its goals.

If you have held roles in Restaurant Server, Administrative Assistant, Call center, or Customer Service, you may be a strong fit for this fast-paced, growth-oriented position.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Proactive communication with urgency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to support branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct to appropriate staff.
• Answer phones and triage inquiries with urgency.
• Manage incoming mail and applicant flow through intake and interview.
• Coordinate and support new hire documentation and onboarding.
• Administer pre-employment tests and record results.
