Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements with prospects and customers on the Majors team (East). You will guide architectural fit, demonstrate the platform’s advantages, and help customer engineering teams expand production use of Temporal across cloud services.

Based in the Eastern US time zone, you will communicate complex concepts to executives and engineers, craft reference architectures, and work with sales to size opportunities. Travel 25-50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Need strong technical communication across multiple audiences—from engineers to VP/CTO.
• Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
• Ability to build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance using Temporal languages.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal’s platform well.
• Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service.
• Position Temporal as an enterprise development standard against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
• Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase adoption of Temporal in production environments.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans across new opportunities and expansion.
• Manage relationships with technical decision-makers to ensure they leverage Temporal’s capabilities.
• Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos.
