Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as the primary customer-facing technical leader within the Majors team (Central). You’ll guide prospects and customers in evaluating Temporal’s platform, showing the cloud service’s architectural advantages to senior engineers and decision-makers.

You’ll collaborate with Account Executives to craft account plans, nurture technical relationships, and drive adoption of Temporal in production environments.

Qualifications

• Strong technical communication across audiences from engineers to VP-level
• Deep understanding of distributed system design principles
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and production services
• Ability to advise on architectural topics and platform patterns

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with prospects to determine fit for Temporal
• Educate customers on technical benefits and limitations of Temporal
• Position Temporal against competing technologies and patterns
• Foster adoption and expansion in customer production environments
• Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans
• Nurture relationships with technical decision-makers in customer orgs
• Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos
• Travel 25-50% to meet customers
