Job summary

Temporal is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead customer engagements, guiding them on temporal platform fit and how the cloud service can scale production applications. The role is focused on the Majors team (West) and involves educating customers, shaping architectural decisions, and partnering with sales to drive long-term success.

Reside within the Pacific time zone, preferably SF Bay Area or Seattle, with 25–50% travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience guiding customers on distributed systems in production.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Ability to create reference architectures and demos.

Responsibilities

• Assess fit of customer applications with Temporal platform.
• Educate customers on Temporal's technical benefits and limitations.
• Position Temporal against competing technologies.
• Foster adoption of Temporal in production environments.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on account plans.
• Manage relationships with technical decision-makers.
• Develop reusable technical assets and demos.
• Travel 25-50%.
