Job summary

Rula is a remote-first mental health company hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the nascent Provider Onboarding Engineering team. You will architect new capabilities and drive product-based implementations across pricing, payments, client panel, and forms.

You will mentor engineers, build robust tools, and shape the engineering domain from the ground up, ensuring scalable systems for a vital mental health ecosystem.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience.
Experience forming a new engineering team.
Experience with full-stack web apps and microservices.
Ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

Architect and lead product-based implementations for Provider Onboarding across internal and external users/workflows.
Build robust tools and leverage industry solutions for pricing, payments, client panel, and forms.
Mentor senior engineers and establish design patterns while driving all phases of the development lifecycle.
Own the transformation of a new engineering domain from ground up with scalable systems.
