Rula is a remote-first company hiring Staff Software Engineers to join the Provider Growth, Acquisition & Supply Management team. The role focuses on building scalable systems to improve how providers find, onboard, and deliver care on the platform.

You will design robust software, lead initiatives across teams, and influence technical strategy while shipping product-minded solutions that reduce provider friction and scale supply to meet patient demand.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Strong full-stack experience with frontend, backend, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience leading initiatives across teams and influencing technical strategy.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of regular workflows.
• A passion for fostering a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, docs, and mentoring.
• Strong communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape direction by designing robust systems for provider experience.
• Deliver software that directly impacts provider onboarding and marketplace dynamics.
