Job summary

Ashby is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer for the Americas to scale our infrastructure and platform services as we grow. You’ll own end-to-end projects, from scaling the homegrown DSL-to-SQL compiler to building developer-friendly tooling that enables rapid, safe feature delivery for a fast-growing TA product.

You’ll collaborate with product and security teams to implement SLOs/SLIs, ensure reliable canary deployments, and design resilient, data-secure systems that can handle high-scale hiring

Responsibilities

• Optimize homegrown DSL-to-SQL compiler
• Create automated guardrails for security and privacy of customer data
• Support canary deploys, gradual rollouts and feature flags
• Define SLOs and implement SLIs
• Ensure retries and circuit-breakers for external services
• Implement infrastructure for event-driven architecture and data warehouse
