Job summary

Ashby is seeking a curious, rigorous Platform Engineer/SRE to help scale and secure our hiring software used by notable customers. You’ll own end-to-end infrastructure projects and shape the platform as Ashby grows.

This role blends platform engineering with reliability, security, and performance work to support rapid product delivery. You’ll collaborate with product and engineering teams to enable fast, safe deployments, define SLOs/SLIs, and build the paved road for Ashby’s engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable, reliable infrastructure for high-growth apps.
• Ability to design and ship end-to-end platform components with minimal oversight.
• Strong focus on security, privacy, and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end-to-end and drive core parts of Ashby platform.
• Scale infrastructure to support rapid growth and multi-tenant customers.
• Enable canary deployments, feature flags, and gradual rollouts; manage complexity.
• Define SLOs and implement SLIs; ensure reliable, secure operation.
